Electric Motor Cleaning
Controlled cleaning for motors, stators & generators
Over time, resin, varnish, insulation and other organic materials can make repair, rewinding and refurbishment more difficult. Our thermal cleaning process removes them.
The process
How does thermal cleaning work?
Every project begins with an assessment of the component and its condition.
The motor, stator or associated component is placed into our specialist thermal cleaning system, where the process is carefully controlled. Organic materials such as resin, varnish and insulation are broken down, enabling the remaining residue to be removed and leaving the underlying metal component ready for further work.
The process can reach areas that conventional mechanical cleaning methods may struggle to access.
Why it matters
Protecting valuable assets
Recover the underlying asset
Where refurbishment is viable, specialist cleaning helps recover valuable components.
Lower replacement costs
Replacing industrial motors and associated components can be expensive.
Reduced waste
Greater value from existing equipment rather than automatic replacement.
A controlled process
Specialist equipment, knowledge and control to protect the underlying component.
Overview
A controlled, specialist process
Thermal cleaning is not simply about applying heat.
The process requires specialist equipment, knowledge and control to achieve effective removal while protecting the underlying component.
Enviro-Strip combines specialist thermal treatment capability with decades of experience in industrial coating and contamination removal.
